James is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has a degree in law. He has over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry and has played an integral part in the successful settlement of a number of major projects. He regularly advises some of South East Asia’s leading contractors and developers together with clients in arbitration, mediation, adjudication and High Court proceedings and has acted as an expert witness and prepared independent and expert determination reports. James is a past Chairman of the Society of Construction Law Hong Kong (2018-2019).

Patrick is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has a degree in law. He has over 30 years’ experience in building, civil engineering and electrical and mechanical works. He regularly acts as expert witness in both arbitration and High Court proceedings for government bodies, developers and contractors both in Hong Kong and overseas and has provided mediation support and independent expert determination services on a range of projects. Patrick is listed in Who’s Who Legal as a recognized Quantum Expert specializing in construction related disputes and has given evidence in both civil law and common law jurisdictions for disputed projects in Asia, Australia, the Middle East and Europe.

David is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and has a post graduate diploma in law with over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. He previously held the position of Contracts manager with a leading Hong Kong building and civil engineering company. David’s expertise includes successfully managing contractors' claims team on site, including formulating strategy, and the preparation, defence, negotiation and settlement of complex contractual claims for additional time, payment and delay recovery on some of Hong Kong’s largest construction projects. He is also experienced in assisting and supporting lawyers and counsel in the preparation of documents for High Court actions, arbitrations and mediation. David also regularly assists expert witnesses and has acted as quantum expert on a number of occasions.

Kaymond is a Chartered Engineer with over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry. He has a degree in Law, a master degree in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution, Post Graduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) and is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators. Kaymond has extensive experience in the assessment and defence of contractual claims for extensions of time, prolongation and variations and has provided support in adjudication, mediation and arbitration proceedings, working in conjunction with legal advisors and assisting the quantum expert in several large final account arbitrations.

David is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry and has previously held the position of Deputy Chief Quantity Surveyor with a prominent Hong Kong contractor. David has extensive experience working at a senior level in the preparation, defense and negotiation of contractual claims for extensions of time and additional payment including for mediation and arbitration. His background includes major infrastructure projects (highways, tunnels, bridges, water treatment, airport and railway works) as well as building works (offices, hotel and leisure, theme parks, residential, retail, industrial, refurbishment and specialist fit out works).

David is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years’ experience in the commercial management of construction projects. He has experience in the preparation, assessment and defence of contractual claims for extensions of time, prolongation and variations. He has assisted in the preparation of documents for an adjudication working closely with legal professionals and has also assisted the quantum expert in several large final account arbitrations. David is proficient in the use of numerous IT software applications, including databases, project management software and planning software, as well as speaking Mandarin to conversational level.

John is a Chartered Engineer with over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry with a strong technical background prior to specialising in commercial and contractual matters. He has a proven and extensive commercial track record including expertise in the preparation and assessment of claims for extensions of time and additional payment, the valuation of variations, planning and risk management for projects. John also has experience of dispute resolution on numerous projects and has assisted in the preparation of quantum expert reports for arbitrations and High Court actions.

Bill is a Civil Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry working for contractors and an engineering consultancy at senior level. He has experience of delay programming and planning and the drafting of detailed particulars for extensions of time and additional payment. Bill can deal with complex engineering issues as well as being proficient with modern programming software including P6 and MPP, he has impeccable English report writing skills and is also fluent in spoken Cantonese.

David is a British civil engineer and delay analyst with over 25 years’ construction experience. David’s forte is to research and prepare liability and time related commercial claims, forensic delay analysis and their negotiation and presentation. He is an intuitive engineer with a wide range of skills for investigating and analysing complex issues for both prospective and retrospective issues. He has worked in a wide range of construction environments, throughout the world and presented his findings in easily understandable formats, whether written, oral or using multi-media platforms. David has acted as expert witness and given oral testimony at the arbitration hearing.

Jessica has over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry working for contractors and as a consultant. She is familiar with all aspects of contract administration including the valuing of variations, claims for additional payment, cost control, subcontractor accounts and final account negotiation. Jessica has assisted the quantum expert in a number of major final account arbitrations which required the research and valuation of variations, missing items, requests for variations, claims for additional payment and the measurement and valuation of defect rectification works. She is also familiar with mediation proceedings.

Karen is an experienced quantity surveyor with over 5 years' experience in delivering large scale, complex infrastructure and building construction projects both in Hong Kong and Mainland China with a solid educational background in construction management and cost control.

She has experience in the management, negotiation and settlement of large infrastructure claims having worked as a contract specialist for the Airport Authority and of all aspects of commercial management having worked for a specialist curtain walling contractor including the preparation of contractual claims and the valuation of variations and omitted items.

Karen is currently studying for a law degree at the University of London and is fluent in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
